KRB OFF-ROAD TRACK

by MARVIN GERONIMO
I have been going to the KRB Off-road track for years now. But not as a motocross rider or anything like that. Sometimes I do feel out of place whenever I go there because I don't ride like they do. But once I see Rhine and Roe Bautista, it feels like a second home with dirt mud and motorcycles ripping around. This is where I learned pretty much all of my off-road riding skills. I was with a group of riders when I first had my lessons with Roe, back then the track was simple. It had sponsor brands, but nothing too big. But the potential of the place was alwas there, even before I felt like this could become a haven for anyone who is into adventure outdoor riding. There's a track for pretty much anything that deals with the dirt, 4x4, quads, motorcross, flat track and even mountain bikes, you can even do trail riding nearby. This place is a quick escape from the busy metro life. You really don't have to travel far and you don't have to worry about taking the expressways, and you can go back to the city just as fast. But with all the good things that I have said about this place, what really takes the cake are the people. Being around the Bautista clan is amazing, they have this chill laid-back positive attitude to them, always smiling and always having a laugh. They make every visitor feel like family. It's good to see the place evolve into something bigger and I'm really positive that in the very near future KRB will become the motorcycle adventure mecca of the Philippines.
