Ian attended Washington State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Business Management in 2010. While in school he managed Dupus Boomer’s, a restaurant/bar on campus. This was the start of what would become a deep interest in the hospitality industry. It was during this time he took on the role of General Manager at the nearby Domino’s Pizza in Moscow, Idaho. Making a failing store profitable in under 6 months, Ian got the attention of Domino’s corporate. Ian wanted to get out of quick service and due to some networking, got an opportunity with Hilton. After a year as a GM of Domino’s he became the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at The Doubletree by Hilton in SeaTac, WA. He held the position for 2 years, earning the Excellence in Leadership award in 2013. During this time the work he did for Domino’s resulted in him getting recruited: A new franchisee wanted to utilize him to develop a district in Chicago IL. Ian took the opportunity and he and his wife headed out to the Windy City. It was a great learning opportunity, and Ian was the District Manager for 12 stores within the Chicago area. Returning to Seattle, Ian worked for the Griffith Family and their Crab Pot restaurant chain. He managed the Bellevue location for a year and then was transferred to their flagship Pier 57 location where he was a Restaurant Manager at Fisherman’s Restaurant. During this time he was contacted by his former F&B Manager at the Doubletree by Hilton to help open The Delta Sky Club at Seattle International Airport. Ian took the opportunity and joined Sodexo Magic to build the Sky Club from the ground up. Within the 1 year he was there, the Delta Sky Club won multiple awards. Through the different avenues of hospitality that Ian had been through since college, he found himself continually drawn to restaurant management. So, he started looking around for a perfect fit. He found it in Six Seven. Ian brings both his life and career experience, high energy and unwavering work ethic to work each day. His passion is to create an impact daily on his guests and his team members. Currently residing only 10 minutes away in Queen Anne, Seattle, Ian and Sarah enjoy raising their daughter Bryn, visiting local breweries, spending time with family and friends and exploring their city.

The Edgewater welcomed dogs and their owners for a reception-style event, complete with signature cocktails, a step-and-repeat and red carpet for photo sessions, lively music from a DJ, giveaways, dog treats, and a menu of light bites for dogs and owners from Six Seven Chef Jesse Souza.
