This study course is designed to be done both in a course room / mosque or self-paced at home. Certain parts of this lesson (Key Word Study) will be done with a partner. Other parts will be done independently (by yourself). When its time to partner, you and your partner (Twin) are to follow the steps of the study guide at your own pace. The lesson is laid out in the order you do them. It is important not to skip any steps of the guide. Each drill has instructions, so make sure you read them before starting on the drill. Do each drill until you and your partner have fully achieved the passing standard given in the drill’s instructions. Purpose of this Study Guide: The purpose of this Study Guide is to guide you through the Message to The Blackman basics course of study. Time to Complete: 20 hours to complete all of the lesson and the drills that accompanies the lesson. Important Note: If you have any questions or difficulties, get in touch with your student minister or coordinator. He/She is there to help you get the most out of this lesson. Each believer (student) should have a copy of this lesson and its instructions to take home and continue studying on their own. Steps to Lesson: 1.) Students and their partner (twin) up and study Key Words through reviewing the questions and answers to master. (If done in course room or mosque/study group the time allotted is 30-45 minutes) a. First time through: The student has the questions and answers in front of him or her. The twin asks the student the question, and the student answers it. He/She can look at the answer if needed. The answer does not have to be word-for-word; just the concept must be correct. b. Second time through: Once finished with the drill the first time, they start again from the beginning, this time without the answers in front of them. The twin asks the question and the student answers. If the answer is incorrect, the twin shows him/her the answer. The twin has the student explain the answer in his or her own words. Once the student has it in his or her own words, the twin re-asks the question. 2.) Read Message to the Blackman (MTTBM) Pages 1 - 15. 3.) Students, on their own, answer the questions presented. Answers should be in their own words but should reflect exactly what they learned from studying the Key Words and reading the text. NOTE: The objec-ve is not to memorize the answers or key words, but to understand the informa-on.

STEP 1: Key Word Clearing The following words have been defined using a Dictionary, more importantly referencing the meanings given by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. REFER TO STEPS TO LESSON (STEP 1) FOR CLARITY. What does mystery mean? Mystery means something unexplained, unknown, or kept secret. Also, any thing or event that remains so secret or obscure as to excite curiosity. What does the word God mean? God means the being conceived of as supernatural, immortal and having special powers over the lives and affairs of people and the course of nature. Also the creator and ruler of the universe. • According to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad God means possessor of power and force. What does the word Allah mean? Allah is the arabic word for the One God. • When we say "Allah" that Name means God and covers all Muslims. All Muslims are Allahs, but we call the Supreme Allah the Supreme Being. And He has a Name of His Own. This Name is "Fard Muhammad." (OSHApg 56) • Allah means Gods. (OSHA pg 57) What does the word spirit mean? Spirit means the life principle, especially in human beings, originally regarded as inherent in the breath or as infused by a god. It is the unseen force. What does the word reality mean? The quality or state of being actual or true. The totality of all things possessing actuality, existence, or essence. That which exists objectively and in fact. What does the word nature mean? Nature comes or the Latin word natus which means born or produced. The essential character of a thing; quality or qualities that make something what it is; essence. The inborn character; innate disposition; inherent tendencies of a person. What does the word material mean? Material means of matter; of substance; relating to or consisting of what occupies space or that which is physical. What does the word deprive mean? Deprive means to take something away from forcibly; separate. It also means to keep from having (as in what is needed). 2

What does the word father mean? Father means an an originator, founder, or inventor. Also, man who has begotten a child; esp., a man as he is related to his child or children. Also, a person regarded as a male parent; protector. What does the word manifest mean? Manifest is something clearly apparent to the sight or understanding; obvious. Also, to make clear or evident; show plainly; to reveal. What does the word Son of Man mean? Son of man means a human. It is one of the titles of God. The Son of Man makes his appearance in the last days. • The Son of Man is the Son of a Man. He is not a spirit as the ignorant are prone to believe. He is the Son of Original Man, the Black Man. (OSHA pg 182-183) • The Great Mahdi is the Son of the Original Man, the Black Man. (OSHA pg 183) What does the word come mean? Come means to move from a place thought of as “there” to or into a place thought of as “here”. What does the word arch-deceiver mean? Arch means main; chief; principal. It also means clever, crafty or mischievous. A deceiver is one who makes (a person) believe what is not true; delude; mislead or lie. Satan is the arch-deceiver. What does the word despised mean? Despised means to look down on with contempt and scorn. Also, to to regard with dislike.. What does the word Mahdi mean? Mahdi means a muslims messianic leader; esp., such a leader and prophet expected by Muslims to appears on earth before the world ends. Mahdi is an arabic word which means the Self-Guided One who guides others back to the straight path. He makes his appearance at the end of Satan’s rule. • "Mahdi" (meaning the Guide, the Restorer of the Kingdom of Righteousness). (OSHA pg 70) What does the word Christ mean? The word Christ means an expected deliver. It also means One who is anointed with power to crush the wicked. Christ makes his appearance at the end of Satan’s rule. • Christ, according to the definition of its name and the teachings I have been taught by God (that I defy any theologian to dispute), means a man coming in the last days to crush the wicked -- Christ the Crusher.
