CFC FURNITURE FINISH CARE INSTRUCTIONS

RECLAIMED WOOD CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Reclaimed wood tables from CFC are made from reclaimed douglas fir (product numbers starting with OW). By their nature, they are distressed and porous. The tops of these tables are sealed, but still require care when placing wet or hot objects on them. Please be sure to use a coaster or trivet under hot and cold items to protect the finish. If moisture gets on the top, wipe it off immediately. A ring may appear if an item is left on the piece without protection. After excess moisture is wiped off, the ring will usually go away to a large extent. These tables should be wiped with a damp rag only. Please be sure not to use any solvents when cleaning these tables as solvents will remove the sealant on the piece. Much like antique furniture, proper care of your product will allow for a lifetime of enjoyment.

FINISH CARE INSTRUCTIONS

LIGHT BROWN WAX & MEDIUM BROWN WAX

Please use coasters and placemats whenever possible. Tabletops, by nature, are distressed and porous. A dry rag can be used at all times. A damp cloth should only be used when needed. Do not rub or scrub. Never use solvents to clean.

Tabletops will attract ring marks as part of the normal wear and tear if exposed for long periods of time. The use of the piece will give it its own character and individuality as it ages naturally.

Finish may be refreshed once or twice a year through re-waxing. For more details, consult your local Territory Manager.
