Who are Noise Solution?
We are a social enterprise organisation working across the East of England, delivering evidencebased music mentoring to youth at risk.
Our work on impact capture, measurement and management has won multiple national and international awards.
We are developing tech solutions for impact capture and measurement, to benefit the wider sector.
What’s the issue?
Current measurement tools such as feedback forms, case studies, and output ‘bums on seats’ data are ineffective.
Impact measurement is increasingly important; we need to be able to measure the impact our work is making, to demonstrate it’s efficacy.
One of the best ways to measure impact is to ask people! We are developing an engine which will allow you to gain measurable insights from conversational data.
What are we trying to do?
Noise Solution has developed an engine, powered by generative AI technology, to gain measurable insights from recorded conversations.
Organisations tell us over and over that this is vital for other organisations who are interested in measuring their impact. We want to test it, with organisations we know and trust.

How does it work?
Your service users tell you how they feel all the time. Our engine allows you to ‘listen’ to all of those conversations, and identity important concepts. We then return data back to you which you can measure over time, to track changes. Importantly, it all happens automatically. Conversations go in, insights come out!

How do I know my data is safe?
We take data security seriously; we won’t be able to access any of your data (unless you give us permission). PII is masked, and data is transferred using secure connections. Your data is not stored by other services. There is a clear opt-in/opt-out process for your service users. We can provide technical detail and legal assurances, if you need it.
What does the engine measure?
We have spent the last 15 years working on social impact measurement (We’ve won lots of awards that validate and our work leading to more of it. We believe that wellbeing is a crucial building block in social impact. If we can demonstrate positively impacting on wellbeing we can see improvements in health, education, social and engagement outcomes.
We use Self Determination Theory as a lens to understand how we can impact on wellbeing.

Self Determination Theory (SDT)
SDT provides a robust framework for understanding the factors which contribute to wellbeing.
SDT says that people have three basic psychological needs: autonomy (the desire to control one's own life), competence (the need to feel effective and skilled), and relatedness (the desire to connect with others). When these needs are satisfied, individuals experience greater well-being and motivation, leading to more fulfilling lives.

What if I want to measure something else?
You will be able to, in time!
Once we test this initial model, we would like to work with organisations like yours to tailor what we measure to your own theory of change.
This initial phase of the project is about testing the model in other organisations; generating useful insights for you, and important feedback for us.
What do you need from me?
We need three things:
• Access to your Salesforce instance for installation and configuration.
• Commitment to engage with the process and provide feedback.
• Funding to cover costs. We think our work is game changing, and we want you to be part of that journey with us.
How much will it cost?
There are costs which need to be covered so we can make this happen:
• Implementation costs - for us to install and configure the engine and provide support.
• Consumption costs - based on the amount of data processed.
We will work with you to clearly outline these costs, so you are clear about your commitment.
These costs will vary depending on how much data you need to process, and how complex the implementation is.
