A story based on Joshua 7

Achan stole from Jericho. That made God very angry. 2
And so, God did not help the Israelites fight the Canaanites.

Joshua was sad because God did not help the Israelites.
So he asked, “God, why aren’t you helping us?” 4
God said, “Someone took something that isn’t theirs. Until he tells the truth, I won’t help you.”

So, finally, Achan told everyone that he stole from Jericho. Then he returned everything that he stole.
And because Achan took something that wasn’t his, he and his family was stoned.

And God was not angry anymore because Achan told the truth.
