No Name Collective Magazine Mission Statement A challenge for artists. Each month we select artists who will participate in the grand final of December 2021. Tell us about your artistic work: why do you se they lead to greater visibility do it, what do you want to express, if you have a precise style and a specific technique or change You have organized exhibitions in the past. How does it feel to involve others in your art? I feel very good them in every project. I have been working with photography for several years. I have almost always concentrated on people and their world. I like entering the world of people. I make art because it is the only occupation that gives meaning to my life. My style has been built over the years around the study of natural light, while the themes change my passion for natural light remains.
If you could show off your artwork anywhere in the world, where would you choose? London, Amsterdam, Ginevra, New York, Lagos Nigeria, Bejiin, Tokio, Mumbai.
Could you tell us something about the art in your country? Is there an active artistic community? Are you part of it? Italy is a country rich in ancient art, photography is about 193 years old, a young art compared to Italian painting, Italians love photography, but still today they prefer to invest in traditional art. Fortunately I have several collectors who don›t think so, they support my work and believe in me.

For years the artist has been carrying out several projects at the same time. One of the first is about identity, it is realized with self-portraits and the use of emojis. Water sprayed on plastic sheets the photographer imagines a new Kosmos, composed of animals and human beings ‘Archeology of the future’. Lastly, he presents a research carried out in the south of Italy, photographing houses covered with thick plastic, the extinct tent city of Rosarno, which housed fruit pickers all from the African continent. The themes of the artist change, what they have in common is the interest in social dynamics. From a stylistic point of view, a continuous dialogue with natural light remains. The different works have in common a search with the light of day, this is the strength of the author. Italian Bio: “Tutta l’opera della fotografa Bruna Ginammi è un’autobiografia segreta. Utilizzando se stessa come lente d’ingradimento per descrivere il mondo, per accogliere la diversità e l’alteritá come valori di fronte all’altro. Anche quando sceglie come soggetto il figlio, (L’altro sguardo, Fotografe italiane 1965-2015 by Raffaella Perna e Donata Pizzi, alla Triennale di Milano, 2018) o si spoglia, travestendosi, per evocare una metamorfosi, ha sempre negato l’idea che l’individuale possa avere un’identità separata dal rapporto sociale. Fin dall’inizio, lo sconfinamento dei generi e la pluralità dei soggetti, dai volti ravvicinati dei poeti, ai fiori decomposti, è stato il tentativo e lo sforzo di trovare una forma di questa totalità sfuggente. Il confronto con la pittura e la Natura in Mutatis, nell’ultima personale da Pelouse Interdite, quello con la materia invisibile e il buio del Cosmo nella serie delle plastiche, si trasforma in immagini di paesaggi insoliti, prima che fotografati, da lei sentiti, percepiti, accolti nel loro apparire senza confini. Tell us about your artistic work: why do you do it, what do you want to express, if you have a precise style and a specific technique or change them in every project. My work is focused on addressing the issue of capitalism and the consequences of its unbridled consumption. Through the wraps of well-known brands and fast food chains, I carry out critical works in which, through scenes and series, he seeks to highlight the way in which people consume foods that, instead of nourishing, affect our bodies and our health with related issues with obesity, diabetes and heart attacks generated by its excessive consumption, also generating a large number of waste that translates into contamination, derived from packaging and wrapping. Exploring different formats and techniques I have found a way to transmit a strong message that questions our habits and forms of consumption and the position we take on the subject, inviting us to consciously think in a reflective way to generate change. Could you tell us something about the art in your country? Is there an active artistic community? Are you part of it? In Tijuana, Mexico, we have cultural spaces, we need to spread art to all generations, from children to adults. What’s a typical day in Pablo’s life? Organize the wrappers, some I pick up on the street or at the sea, and others arrive (through neighbors whom I have asked to keep their wrappers for me). All those I disinfect and clean, then I begin to separate them by color in their respective containers. Do you travel for art? To visit solo exhibitions or other art exhibitions you want to see?I always attend my exhibitions, I like to engage in dialogue with the audience and make them notice with my work how much junk food humans consume. Where are your favorite places or themes where you can find inspiration for your work? Junk food adds. Have you studied art or are you self-taught? I attended several art degrees in Tijuana, but I consider myself self-taught. Do you remember the first artistic work you did? Pablo Llana 1980. Lives and works in Tijuana, Mexico. Originally from the city of Tijuana. He has a degree in plastic arts from the Casa de la Cultura de Tijuana. From 2000 to 2002 he was a student of the “Artistic Professionalization Program for Visual Artists” (PROPAVIS) taught at the “Humanities Center of Baja California”, with the support of CONACULTA, including prominent artists and professionals such as: Felipe Ehrenberg, others. He has participated in more than 50 local and international collective exhibitions. Exploring the idiocy of crowds. A series of illustrations represent my reflection on people’s negative group behavior, both online and offline. An individual immersed for some length of time in a crowd soon finds oneself either in consequence of magnetic influence given out by the crowd or from some other cause of which we are ignorant. They are impulsive and irritable. They exaggerate the sentiments. They follow each other. They judge for no reason.
Feixue Mei
is an artist, illustrator, and designer from China and based in Missouri, US. Her creative practice and research have been recognized by Printed Matter’s Art Book Fairs, Singapore Art Book Fair, American Illustration (AI-AP), International Design Awards (IDA), Graphis, Creative Quarterly, Indigo Design Awards, Art & Education, Creative Boom, Aesthetica, Popular Culture Association, Transformative Works and Cultures, and more. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, including the U.S, the U.K, Europe and Asia. She holds an MFA in Design with a concentration in Visual Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University, a BFA in Graphic Design from Colorado State University, and a BFA in Visual Communications from Central China Normal University. Now she is an Assistant Professor in Graphic Design at Northwest Missouri State University. “I am fascinated by pop culture, social media, cultural adaptation, intimate relation, and identity formation. My work explores publications, illustrations, sequential arts, videos, installations, and performances. With a strong desire to communicate, I believe in Maximalism - the philosophy of “more is more.” Life is complicated; we have many identities when we grow up. Those identities and labels interact, struggle and fight with others and finally tell who we are. The usage of contrasting colors, illustration of multiple subjects, and narration of a long story all resemble my belief and introdu ce a world to the audience where they can forget their stress and own new identity.”
