WORKSTATION DESIGN FOR MULTI-SCREEN USERS FOCUSING ON THE HEALTH OF NECK
01 WORKSTATION
Target User Multi-screen users, such as stock brokers suffer from neck problems because of the way they work.

Concept Development After playing with a six-movement robotic arm, I decided to develop a two-movement concept. Because for the purpose of adjusting angles, two movements can meet the requirements of the task.

How to Use The key point of the final concept is a robotic arm with two movements. When the user sits at a comfortable position, as the screen holder, the robotic arm can adjust height and angle of the screen to make the screen point user’s face in an appropriate position.

FUTURE OF CLEANING DESIGN STUDIO SPONSORED BY PROCTER & GAMBLE
02 FUTURE OF CLEANING
Target Scenario Cleaning is a heavy duty in restaurants. What would people do cleaning in the future in a restaurant?
02 FUTURE OF CLEANING
Work Flow of Cleaning in a Restaurant Based on an interview with a busboy in a local restaurant, I got a chance to look at a real work flow of cleaning thoroughly. The key person that keeps this flow running well is the busboy.
02 FUTURE OF CLEANING
Problems Fast, but not Hygienic Busboys wipe debris, but they don’t have a suitable tool to make the table hygienic again at the same time.

!
Inspiration: Swiffer + Steam
Filthy Towels According to the interview with a busboy from a local casual restaurant, normally, they only dump the wiping towels once a day. Before they change the towel, it’s already too filthy to clean the tables.
Stubborn Oil When the oil left on the tables gets cold and set, it can not be easily wiped off just by a piece of wet towel.

WITNESS OF RIVERS WATERTAP DESIGN
03 WATERTAP DESIGN
The Witnesses Embraced, shaped and left by water, stones are the witnesses of rivers. Their shapes tell you the water has been running for a long long time. The river has been living for a long long time. Inspired by stones, our watertaps are like the stones in our home. They are the witnesses of the stream in our house.
03 WATERTAP DESIGN
Concept Development Starting with the shapes of cobbles, a watertap concept was generated to express the idiosyncracy of stone.

CRUTCHES FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS AN ONGOING CRUTCH DESIGN PROJECT WITH EMPATHETIC DESIGN THINKING FOCUSING ON USERS IN COLLEGES
06 CRUTCHES FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS
One Day, A College Student Broke a Leg The story begins with the day I accidently broke my leg. Then I started to go through a process of recovery. Everythings went well until I was trying to make up for the Halloween party... I was trying to be a zombie on that day, but my crutches and cast sold me out. Then I came up with the idea to also smear “blood on my crutches. It turned out that my crutches looked like part of my costume.
Awkward Moments
How to Place the Leg As a college student, taking class is in the daily routine. However, how to place crutches in the classroom, how to place injured leg while having a class are somehow special challenges.
I still look like a real zombie on the Halloween party!
Heavy Doors Door opening is another special challenge for college students. Although many people with warm hearts would help you open the door, Those heavy doors in public buildings somehow are still potential danger.

06 CRUTCHES FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS
New Opportunity: Empathetic Thinking College students are a group of people that have a lot of interactions with surrounding students, faculty and facility. Once they get on crutches, not only their daily routine, bue also their thoughts and feelings will change a lot. So applying empathy design to study this issue is a new opportunity to develop crutches different from any other crutch before.

Over 200 Million Migrant Workers They Don’t Have User-friendly Luggage The most important tradition in the holidays of Chinese New Year is going home. In China, hundreds of millions of people work or study thousands miles away from their home town. Chinese New Year is normally the once-a-year time for them to go home. A lot of them are migrant workers, these low-income people suffer from their stupid heavy luggage every year.
