Dear Friends Welcome to the Autumn Season at The Farm. Come over for the classic Dinner and a Show combo - perfect for date night. Or coffee and cake, just you and your laptop. Try a mid-week movie with a merlot; come independently or with friends. Got young children in tow? End the week snuggled up in the magical story den followed by Sunday lunch, and leave us with the clearing up. If you see only one show this year - make it this one. I first saw Enter the Dragons at Edinburgh Festival last year and have finally got it here for you. Helpless laughter guaranteed - oh yes and did I mention, it will probably change your life? Theatre matters - simple as that. It helps us make sense of this ever-more surreal world we live in. If theatre is not currently featuring in your to-do, then it’s time to switch it up. Try I Wanna Be Yours, the new play from Paines Plough theatre, the ‘de facto national theatre of new writing’. Blur the boundaries and mix it up. Try Still No Idea from Bunny (yes she was in Eastenders), a rollicking theatre / cabaret / sketch show exploring disability and ‘learn to imagine better’. Want to experience something totally different? Help is at hand! How about meeting some Tibetan Monks and witnessing their musical meditations? Immerse yourself in WWI and find out about the Peace Teas (then scoff one yourself in the Long Barn). Lose yourself in ‘Karmic Blues’ an Indian-Blues mash-up with Ajay Srivastav. Embrace that ‘back to school’ September feeling and sign up for a class. Brand new this Autumn, Norden Farm Choir, a highly sociable evening singalong, with an interval and post class bar gathering every session, led by songwriter / musician Rob Castell. Check out the other daytime and night school classes for some internal sunshine and inspiration this Season.

Jane Corry Chief Executive and Artistic Director jane.corry@nordenfarm.org / www.facebook.com/jane.nordenfarm PS - Thanks to everyone who’s reviewed us online. I’m loving the ‘top review phrases’ so much, especially ‘brilliant venue’, ‘brilliant night’, ‘little gem’, ‘nice bar’! If you want to join in the conversation on social, get involved – we love hearing from you!
