Hello I am Robyn, the Education Officer here at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Maidenhead. Our autumn offering features work from award winning theatre company Theatre Centre and event cinema from the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Plus, new for Autumn 2015, a selection of workshops which can take place in your school or at Norden Farm. We are pleased to welcome Theatre Centre back with Rise Up. A new play from the company who previously brought The Muddy Choir, Advice for the Young at Heart and The Day the Waters Came to Norden Farm. The play tells the stories of the Freedom Riders - principled citizens taking a stand against racist laws in the American Deep South - the play draws parallels between the early 1960s and modern day struggles for equality. We are also proud to be able to bring you the best in event cinema, direct from London’s National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company including performances of Hamlet, Henry V and Jane Eyre.

Our Young Leadership Scheme for 2016 is now open for registration and offers students the chance to gain extra work experience throughout the Easter and Summer holidays at Norden Farm. As always we continue to have a whole host of ways you and your students can get involved here at Norden Farm, including our Technical Theatre workshops. This season we have introduced literacy workshops led by professional poet Coral Rumble, and music workshops led by Readipop. I hope that there is something in this brochure that you and your students will enjoy, and look forward to working with you over the coming months. If you have any questions about the Farm Out programme, or about what Norden Farm can offer, please get in touch.
