Our very first kite festival! Get involved at Kite Making Workshops across the school holidays, then see your creation take to the sky. Or bring your own kite and join in the fun!

Join in at the end as the next generation of cabaret stars take over the stage. ROH Live: The Nutcracker

Sun 16 Dec | 4.30pm | 150 mins Encore screening. Tchaikovsky’s much-loved music is matched to a magical adventure on Christmas Eve for Clara and her Nutcracker doll. Their journey to the Land of Sweets brings with it some of the most familiar of all ballet moments, such as the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Waltz of the Flowers. WHY? Youth Theatre at Norden Farm

Norden Lights led by Troublemaker Theatre Company

Your chance to be on stage and in the spotlight! Join the only youth drama group in Maidenhead which rehearses in a professional theatre! Our friendly theatre company lead the sessions, where you’ll have fun and meet new friends. Each term you’ll create a show and perform in our studio or on the main stage, with lighting, sound and staging from Norden Farm’s technical crew. Plus receive discounted tickets to shows and gain opportunities to work alongside Troublemaker Theatre Company at our Summer Theatre Week. Pick up performance skills from stage combat to acting for camera and physical theatre to accents, while working with scripts from famous playwrights or made up by you. Class

Across the term you will learn yoga postures and movement sequences (including a gentle bedtime yoga sequence), meditations based on popular fairy tales, relaxation techniques and much more. Education and Community Outreach Norden Farm’s Education and Community Outreach programme is led by our Education Manager, Robyn Bunyan. The programme includes work within primary and secondary schools in the RBWM, which is generously supported by the Spoore, Merry and Rixman Foundation. It also includes special projects such as our annual Lantern Parade in December, The Maidenhead Beach during the summer holiday and Jump In! Youth Arts Festival at Easter.
