Dear Friends Welcome to the Summer Season at The Farm. This summer steep yourself in the best live music from across the globe. Immerse yourself in sounds from Mali with Tunde Jegede, Nashville Tennessee with Kyshona Armstrong and in pure Andalusian flamenco courtesy of Juan Martin. Experience the best in theatre including two brand new productions we found at Edinburgh Festival. A reimagined A Midsummer Night’s Dream presented on bikes and Octopus, a post Brexit satire about identity… and punk. Comedy is centre stage this summer. In addition to established names such as Greg Davis, Katy Brand and Brian Conley, emerging stand ups such as Tez Illyas, Alice Marshall and Ayesha Hazarika make their Farm debuts. The only beach in Maidenhead is back this summer - bigger and more beachy than ever! Free to play on throughout the holidays, there’s also films and live shows; Higgledy Piggledy Pie, Little Red Robin Hood and a special rock and roll gig from Concertini. Plus, week long courses in theatre, circus and dance, daily storytelling and craft sessions, plus secret cove exploration in the Gallery. Look forward to seeing you here.

Neel Bakhle: I Hear You’re Here Tues 16 May - Sun 11 Jun Neel Bakhle’s second show at Norden Farm continues his exploration of the ‘evaporated form’ or illusional space. In his new work Bakhle returns to the substance of mixed materials, using a sculptural flatness to elude somehow to a screen of lost physical space, isolated in each of its discoveries, more like an awoken thought, than depiction of the place itself.

SocialArts Exhibition Wed 5 Jul - Sun 16 Jul An exhibition showcasing the work of SocialArts, a Norden Farm project designed to promote the creativity of older people in a sociable environment. Led by Amelia Pimlott (The Ding Foundation) together with visiting artists, the group has engaged in a host of activities from animation to print making. Supported by the Rothschild Foundation.

Karen Carter: Making a Mark Tues 13 Jun - Sun 2 Jul An exhibition of work from a group of Berkshire artists exploring the physical properties and mark-making qualities of the materials they use. They work in a variety of media and subject matter resulting in a diverse and vibrant collection of images. Collectively they encompass printmaking, painting and drawing, from moody monochrome charcoals to bright and bold acrylics.
