Bollywood
An energetic modern Indian dance style. With a focus on a fusion of Indian and Western Bollywood styles with Latino and Arabic influences.
Kathak
A North Indian classical dance style. The students will perform both pure classical dance pieces as well as religious prayer dance songs.
Summer Theatre Week

Put Yourself in the Frame Exhibition Mon 28 Mar - Sat 9 Apr Throw yourself into the action in our Put Yourself in the Frame Exhibition celebrating the participants of the Jump In! Family Arts Festival. Sit back and enjoy the animated antics of the students of St Luke’s, St Mary’s and Burchetts Green Primary Schools. Created during the Jump In! Schools Animation Workshops, students put themselves in the frame using stop motion techniques and the results are on display during the festival. Or place your face centre stage in our art installation!

9.30am Families 10.45am 5 - 7 years 12pm 8 - 10 years 1.30pm 11+ years 2.45pm Families Try tightrope walking, giant ball walking, unicycling and juggling. Led by award-winning circus company Albert and Friends. (Minimum age for family workshop is 5 years)
9.30am 8 - 10 years Use spray paints both free hand and with stencils to produce personal street art pieces to take home.
Mini Figure Sculptures 10.45am Families Dynamic figure sculpture; using wire frames and fabric with special fabric hardener create amazing statues full of movement and colour.
Fun with Casting 12pm 5 - 7 years Use simple casting techniques with clay and plaster to cast toys and found objects creating 3d pictures.
Modroc Monsters 1.30pm Families Using newspaper, tape and bandage soaked in plaster make weird and wonderful monsters in groups.
Hand Casting 2.45pm 11+ years Learn professional casting techniques using alginate and plaster to produce an amazingly detailed cast of your hand or foot.
Music Sing and Strum Ukulele 12pm Families An introduction to the ukulele for everyone (even beginners!). Play fun and quirky covers and take part in a big uke jam.
Sensational Samba Drumming 1.30pm Families Play snare drums, agogo bells or the choalhols to make a sensational samba rhythm.
Glitch Jam Workshop 2.45pm 8 - 10 years Make some electronic noises using our collection of iPad apps, Kaoss pads and noise toys. Plug in and play!
Loud and Proud Voice for acting 9.30am 5 - 7 years Learn to project and change your voice, learn new accents and make sure people listen.
Create your own MONSTER make up 10.45am Families Ghosts, witches, aliens, animals. Go wild with this hands-on session of art, creativity and play.

Put Yourself in the Frame Exhibition Mon 28 Mar - Sat 9 Apr Throw yourself into the action in our Put Yourself in the Frame Exhibition celebrating the participants of the Jump In! Family Arts Festival. Sit back and enjoy the animated antics of the students of St Luke’s, St Mary’s and Burchetts Green Primary Schools. Created during the Jump In! Schools Animation Workshops, students put themselves in the frame using stop motion techniques and the results are on display during the festival. Or place your face centre stage in our art installation!

Bollywood
An energetic modern Indian dance style. With a focus on a fusion of Indian and Western Bollywood styles with Latino and Arabic influences.
Kathak
A North Indian classical dance style. The students will perform both pure classical dance pieces as well as religious prayer dance songs.
