Dear Friends Welcome to the Summer Season at The Farm. Live music to inspire you, brand new drama to make you think and comedy to make you LOL. Come on your own or with friends, both ways work, so, what are you getting up to this summer? Here are some of the things I’m most excited about… A whole raft of Edinburgh comedy previews - comedians testing out material in preparation for the most important comedy platform of the year. And you get to see them up close and personal. Theatre this season includes three new works! We’ve co-commissioned White Feather Boxer as part of the greenhouse scheme. Comedian Alistair McGowan previews his play about composer and belle époque eccentric Erik Satie. And our associate company Slot Machine preview Toys created for our younger audiences, where their actual toys perform in the shows. The Big Berkshire Beach gig is a new showcase for local musicians, continuing our mission of finding and supporting new talent. Apply to perform by emailing me on jane.corry@nordenfarm.org. The event takes place during our Hawaiian Elvis themed beach, which is back all summer long and completely free to play on. We’ve got everything you need for a good night - or afternoon - out. Catch a show, watch a movie, take a class, work on your laptop in the Café Bar, have a meeting in the Farmhouse, host a family celebration in the Long Barn, see the world with new eyes. Whatever you’re here for, you know you always get a friendly welcome at The Farm. It’s your cultural home. Looking forward to seeing you here.
