She falls in with the in-crowd, has a falling-out with her mother and falls for a mysterious guy. But a relationship with him proves to be trickier to navigate than a kickflip.

He is called to a patient at Hundreds Hall, where his mother once worked. With the Hall now in decline, its inhabitants are haunted by something more ominous than a dying way of life.

WHY? Charlotte Rampling and Domhnall Gleeson star in this adaptation of Sarah Waters’s ghostly thriller

Oscar Wilde Season Live: An Ideal Husband Wed 7 Nov 2pm 160 mins, £15 Encore screening from London’s West End. This entertaining and still topical play brings an act of political sin into the heart of the English home. Sir Robert Chiltern is an ambitious government minister. His smooth ascent to the top seems assured until Mrs Cheveley appears in London with damning proof of his previous financial chicanery.

Marius Petipa’s fantasy, set in legendary India, tells the tale of a temple dancer and the prince who loves her but marries another. His music perfectly matches the fluidity and precision of the choreography and the drama of the storytelling.

WHY? Natalia Makarova’s production brings an exotic world of temple dancers and noble warriors to life

RSC Live: Troilus & Cressida Wed 14 Nov 7pm 210 mins, £15 Live screening. Troilus and Cressida swear they will always be true to one another. But in the seventh year of the siege of Troy their innocence is tested and exposed to the savage corrupting influence of war, with tragic consequences.
