Dear Friends Like you, we just love trying new things. This Spring season is stacked high with a bunch of firsts for The Farm… Come try them with us! Live music, up close and personal in the intimate Studio space, include first appearances from The Local Honeys (Kentucky), Francophone Vishten (East Coast Canada) and Mile Twelve (Boston). Comedians making their Farm debut include: Sindhu Vee (who made me properly howl with laughter at Edinburgh), Ivo Graham and Adam Riches. More Newness for Spring includes our first Burns Night Ceilidh, featuring live music, dancing, food and address to the ‘Great Chieftain o’ the PuddinRace’ in the 18th Century Long Barn. The new Spring Family Arts Festival, Quest Family-Fest, launches in March. Navigate your way through a host of creative adventures with your family, however you define that. Collect points as you complete Quests and fearlessly explore a land where imagination rules supreme. Brand new theatre to talk about includes; Beowulf, an immersive performance game of Vikings and monsters and Odyssey, an hilarious new verse adaptation of the most epic journey of all time. The Local Honeys

Sun 20 Jan 7.30pm Country folk duo Montana Hobbs and Linda Jean Stokley bring the folk music of Kentucky to Maidenhead. They have won multiple songwriting accolades, including the Chris Austin Songwriting Award from MerleFest. They perform both traditional and original songs that showcase their ability to tear into hard-driving fiddle tunes, sing the high lonesome sound and tell a damn good story. WHY? Your chance to be on stage and in the spotlight! Join the only youth drama group in Maidenhead which rehearses in a professional theatre!

Our friendly theatre company lead the sessions, where you’ll have fun and meet new friends. Each term you’ll create a show and perform in our studio or on the main stage, with lighting, sound and staging from Norden Farm’s technical crew. Plus receive discounted tickets to shows and gain opportunities to work alongside Troublemaker Theatre Company at our Summer Theatre Week. An energetic modern Indian dance style. These classes are a fusion of Indian and western styles with Latin and Arabic influences. All terms are 10 weeks long and suitable for all abilities.

Sun 13 Jan, 17 Feb, 17 Mar and 28 Apr 10am - 11am A class for grown ups and their little ones. Connect through movement and breath. Learn yoga postures, a gentle bedtime yoga sequence, meditations based on popular fairy tales and relaxation techniques. No previous yoga experience needed. Bring one yoga mat (per pair) and a blanket each. Suitable for age 4 - 8 years, must be accompanied by an adult.

Light Up: Lantern Parade Retrospective Tues 15 Jan - Sun 27 Jan Celebrating 10 years of the Norden Farm Lantern Parade, this exhibition brings together photos, objects and film footage from past parades and workshops. We’d love to see the parade through your eyes! Send your pictures to lucy.hobbs@nordenfarm.org for the chance to have them featured in the exhibition. Grown from modest beginnings, the lantern parade is now a firm favourite in the town’s calendar. With workshops taking place across Maidenhead with community groups and schools, and a parade and finale concert starting and ending at the Town Hall, this ever popular Norden Farm project has much to celebrate - here’s to the next ten years!

John Percy: Metaphorically Speaking Daily Drawings By Sara Hurley Tues 29 Jan - Sun 3 Mar Sara Hurley presenting a selection of her drawings on paper and canvas. Her subject matter is visitors of galleries and museums where they form a relationship with an art work; they become the art themselves.

Tues 5 Mar - Sun 31 Mar In this exhibition, the artist presents paintings that explore choice, decision and chance as a metaphor for the process of living in a modern, complex world. The aim is to make enigmatic, poetically powerful, contemplative objects expressing a sense of the continual struggle between necessary order and desirable anarchy.

Quest Mon 8 Apr - Sun 21 Apr Working with local Maidenhead schools, this interactive exhibition is part of the brand new Quest Family Fest. Navigate your way through a host of creative adventures and fearlessly explore a land where imagination rules supreme.

If you would like your tickets posted out in advance, £1 will be added to your total booking cost. If paying by cheque, please add £1 per booking to all cheques (made payable to Norden Farm Centre Trust Ltd) or enclose an SAE.

Unless otherwise stated, concession rates are available to fully retired senior citizens, unwaged, students and under 16s.

Alternatively, you can collect your tickets from the Box Office. Ticket Exchange If you purchase tickets and subsequently find you are unable to attend, we may be able to exchange your tickets for another event. Please let us know at least 72 hours before the performance. For classes and workshops, please let us know at least 7 working days before the event. A charge of £1 per transaction is applicable. Follow the signs from the A4 to Norden Farm. We have more than 80 parking spaces, with further space available at nearby Altwood School on busy nights. There are six parking spaces at the front of the building which are reserved for Blue Badge holders only. Please do not park in spaces reserved for disabled customers, or on the roads surrounding the area, as this is a residential area.
