June is Recreation and Parks Month

June is Recreation and Park Month (JRPM) is a movement that promotes the benefits of recreation and parks for physical, social, and environmental health. Communities across Ontario have embraced JRPM as a way to promote local programs and events, parks and facilities that are available for all citizens to enjoy!

June 1: Get Out and Get Active today! Kick of the month with a neighbourhood walk

June 2: Guided Urban Walk Delhi 12-12:45 meet at Delhi Friendship Centre.

June 5: Try it Pickleball for Tweens and Adults @ SRC 7-9pm

June 6: Try it Fitness @ DFC 10-11am

June 7: Try it Gentle Fitness 10-11am

June 8: Try it Pickleball DDSS 7-9pm

June 9: Try it Nordic Pole Walking 12-1pm meet at SRC

June 12: Try it TRX 5:15-6:15pm

June 13: Check out the Lynn Valley Trail Simcoe

June 14: Take your Dog to the Waterford Dog Park

June 15: Go skateboarding at the Port Rowan Park and take a Selfie and post to our Facebook page.

June 16: Check out the Delhi Rail Trail

June 19: Go play Pickleball at an outdoor court in Norfolk County

June 20: Don’t foget to check out our Gear Shop. Visit us on line to rent out some fun equipment to keep you fit!

June 21: Try a new receipe with your family.

June 22: Fly a kite in a open area

June 23: Don’t forget to register for our Summer Programs there is something for everyone!
