Mentoring phase The mentees of mentoring phase took part in the following group meetings during the last three months: “Art of communication”, “The borders of human imagination”, and “The magic world of emotions”. The meeting helped the girls to reveal their emotions, develop creative approach to the life and gain knowledge on how to communicate effectively with people.
“Lead me and I’ll follow you” During these three months we realized presentations organized by mentor-mentee matches. With the help of the mentors the mentees prepared and presented PowerPoint presentation on different topics, like: “Interesting facts on the universe”, “Seven sins of a human being”, “What kind of rights I have”.
Skill building phase During these three months the skill building phase mentees gained a lot of skills, that are necessary for their higher education, daily life and for searching for a job in the future. The mentees of this phase also started to take part in a project “Trained and developed teenage girls in Gyumri”. During this project the mentees take part in computer classes and practice their skills.
Overall group meetings The group meetings of the last three months helped the mentees to learn more about our national holidays and the peculiarities of different nations. The group meeting “ Are we the screen-writer of our life, or is everything given by God” was not only a debate meeting but was also full of new information. It helped the mentees to think about their lives and realize that they would always be responsible for the steps they would take in the life. The speakers :Deacon Ararat Sargsyan from Armenian Apostolic Church and Karapet Mkrtchyan, the young candidate of sciences, helped us to understand deeply those topics.

Mentoring training During the last three months the mentors took part in a two trainings on “Team building” and “Situation analysis”. During the “Team building” meeting the mentors worked together as a big team and prepared the elevator pitch of the organization. During the second meeting the mentors discussed different problematic situations that may happen to the mentees and came up with possible solutions.
Tutoring in Nor Luyce Thanks to our volunteers the mentees can take part in English and Armenian language tutoring classes to study well at school.
The successes of our mentees During this period our mentees took part in different championships, competitions and Olympic games. One of our mentees: Naira Hamazaspyan got Gold medal in the fencing youth championship and another mentee: Arpine Termenjan got the second prize in the weightlifting championship of adult women. Congratulations girls, we are proud of you.
