The department has 26 tenured/tenure-track faculty members and an additional 47 tenured/tenure-track affiliated faculty contribute to the department. During 2019 to 2021, the department recieved $20M in external research awards. Our downtown Boston campus facilitates collaborations with major medical centers, research labs, and industry. Our faculty’s efforts in scholarship and research seek to provide solutions to compelling health and sustainability challenges.
