How a camp cocktail became a legend

Not everything goes right on every trip. We have all been there- bugs, rain, breakdowns, crabby children, bickering spouses.... at the end of the day you can finally settle in and have a nightcap and relax. If you're extremely lucky, mother nature can reward you for all of your effort. At the Northology Spring Cleanup Campout, the stragglers were gathered around the campfire late Friday night, May 19th and just before midnight, the sky lit up with a flickering show. Visible to the naked eye, the lights danced as the campers stood in awe. Hugs and high fives were exchanged between shutter clicks and long exposures. It was suggested that the drinks served earlier brought the lights out, and that is the story we are sticking with. Cheers!

Northern Lights Cocktail

Ingredients

1 oz. (30ml) Smirnoff Sours Berry Lemon

1 oz (30ml) Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka Red Bull Blueberry

Lemon Wedges

Blueberries

Steps

Fill shaker with ice cubes. Add all liquid ingredients

Shake and strain into a chilled highball glass filled with ice cubes

Garnish with lemon wedge and blueberries.
