Be microadventure-ready

Clothing appropriate for the activity and weather. Camping gear: If you're planning to camp, you'll need a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and camp stove. You may also want to bring a cooler for food and drinks.

Food and water: Bring enough food and snacks for the duration of your trip, and plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Navigation tools: Bring a map and compass, and a GPS device if you have one. It's also a good idea to have a backup battery or power bank for electronic devices.

First aid kit: Bring a basic first aid kit with supplies like bandages, gauze, antiseptic wipes, and pain relievers.

Personal items: Don't forget to pack any personal items you'll need, like toiletries, medications, and a flashlight or headlamp

Emergency supplies: Bring a whistle, signal mirror, and extra food and water in case of an emergency
