What are the needs of a new or practicing RN and how can the North Park University BSN Completion Program make a difference? For one, they need to be competent in retrieving and analyzing current healthcare evidence and applying this evidence to consumer healthcare problems. They need to understand the fiscal pressures thrust upon them and assess nursing outcomes in light of increasing accountability. Additionally, they need to have leadership and management skills that will enable them to function among other disciplines in maintaining or restoring holistic health. These are some of the competencies that we address in the North Park program.
