Having opened its doors after an impressive two-year renovation, the historic Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, is the perfect place to dock and dine while enjoying a cruise along the French Riviera

Offering an enviable location on the Cannes boardwalk as well as a private beach club, the Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, was the most talked about hotspot this summer. Famously the first luxury hotel to open in Cannes, the Carlton Cannes has been an iconic sight on the French Riviera for the last 100 years. Occupying an entire block overlooking the city’s prestigious beachfront promenade, La Croisette, the Carlton’s grand Belle Epoque exterior and famous “Carlton Hotel” inscription atop its façade has been restored to its former glory.

The “Grand Dame of La Croisette” has plenty of choice when it comes to places to drink and dine. One of the new additions is Turkish restaurant Rüya, plus the exclusive Bar 58 and courtyard terrace. However, the Riviera Restaurant is the most iconic of the dining establishments and has played host to the superyacht set over the decades. This is the place to book for a memorable occasion on the terrace overlooking the Croisette with views of the Mediterranean Sea. Seasonal ingredients preside over the Riviera menu, with fresh, sun-drenched dishes created by Chef Laurent Bunel and his team.

Elsewhere, enjoy the dolce vita lifestyle with lunch at the chic, 1950s-style Carlton Beach Club, where Chefs Alexandra Delamare and Laurent Bunel give rise to local and simple ingredients to create delicious light dishes.
