Naples-based fashion blogger and influencer Ilda Hobert shares her passion for travel, and adult and children’s fashion with the world, inspiring people along the way. We sat down with Hobert to learn more about what motivates her and to get the inside scoop on all things Naples. Q: How long have you lived in Naples? A: I’ve lived in Naples for about 16 years. We moved here shortly after my family emigrated from Albania.

Q: What do you love most about living in Naples? A: I love being near the water. My family and I are huge boating and beach people. I also love the art and fashion vibe downtown and all the community events.

Q: What’s a local hidden gem that visitors should check out? A: I absolutely love Clam Pass Beach! A: My love of fashion came from my grandmother. She never cared what others thought of her and wore whatever she thought made her look best. Whenever my sister and I visited her, she would shower us with trendy clothes she had bought for us. My love of travel came from growing up in a different country and moving here. When I first met my husband, we clicked over our mutual passion for travel; so we’ve always tried to make traveling a priority. Now, having our daughter just furthers our wanderlust. We want her to see different cultures and areas of the world with us.

Q: How would you describe your style? A: My style leans toward elegant and timeless, but I keep it fun.

Q: So far, what’s your favorite place to visit in Naples? A: There are just too many hidden gems here! I love many of our beaches, Fifth Avenue and the shopping districts. I honestly recommend that people explore and find what speaks to them. Naples is full of people from all over the world, which offers a unique opportunity to shop many styles and experience different cultures.

Q: What’s your must-have accessory? A: Jewelry, because it can complete any outfit!

Q: When did you decide to start blogging? A: After having our daughter, I had to stay home to take care of her. I was looking for a way to express myself, and my husband brought up how people always asked me where I got my outfits. He suggested I start a blog. I jumped into it, fell in love and never looked back.

Q: What made you decide to blog about travel, fashion and lifestyle? A: I love putting together outfits, traveling the world, experiencing new cultures and capturing memories. Those things just go together for me.

Q: What’s something you hope your readers will gain from your blog? A: I hope they are inspired and informed. My goal is to be a go-to person for them in every chapter of their life.
