Halloween in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne

Once upon a Tyne… …there were a handful of Northumbria’s students who were to discover the magic of Newcastle’s notorious nightlife on the haunted date of Halloween. Such a night out needs to be well prepared:

Cauldrons full of fake blood, Vaseline and dark eyeshadow were used to transform the innocuous students into a bunch of monsters, coldblooded killers, dead bodies or saw dolls.

After everyone being disguised enough to freak out by his own photograph, the killer crew crip-walked to the city center. Meanwhile, Newcastle’s streets had filled with any possible kind of nocturnal creatures, some scarier, some less‌

Since the students were unaware of the popularity of the event of Halloween in Newcastle, they had missed to buy tickets for the bigger parties for example at Digital or the Project X Party organised by the Student’s Union. However, the Tiger Tiger Club at Newgate Street turned out to be a really neat location to celebrate Halloween – for only £7 entry fee.

Under a massive spider web spreading over all 4 floors the students had a deathly good time! After a tough night dancing, they decided to have a funeral feast at McDonald’s – they weren’t the only ones…This is what a lunch break of the cast of “The Walking Dead” must look like:

…and if they weren’t dead already, they would live happily ever after!
