The
Program What is the study abroad program ?
The Northumbria study abroad program offers students the opportunity to spend up to three semesters in three different locations throughout their university lifetime. The program is designed to provide students with the chance to learn a new language and develop employability skills through building cultural awareness. The program is very diverse with 38 different countries available to choose from

WHERE I WENT
My experience on the study abroad program allowed me to live and study for two semesters at Chonnam National University in SOUTH KOREA. The university is located in Gwangju, the sixth largest city located in the southeast of South Korea.
WHAT I DID
Second degree: I studied Business Administration at Chonnam on a double degree program. This means upon my graduation in June 2017, I will have a second degree from an international Asian university along side my BA hons degree from Northumbria Work Experience: I completed a two week internship at a top South Korean bank Learnt a Language: I completed a four month language course to learn hangul, the written language of South Korea Travelled the world: The study abroad program allowed me to travel to 7 different countries in one year, including: South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam
