---- WELCOME ---Welcome to the 14th issue of Best of Northwest Arkansas Travel Guide Top 10. Exploding growth continues with new restaurants, accommodations, things to do, housing and infrastructure all moving along at a breakneck pace. Look down almost any street to see a longstanding house or other structure bulldozed to make room for a new building or parking lot. I’m amazed that the building industry is able to keep up with current demands here in NWA. Our readers look to us to provide them with the latest information on restaurants, accommodations and things to do. Although it’s a challenge, it is so much fun bringing to you all the changes from one quarter to the next. Have you checked out our Ask An Expert section? Here’s where you can get your questions answered about a broad range of categories for free. Our new categories for this issue are:
. Fayetteville Pizza . New Restaurants . Hidden Treasures . Camping . Ice Cream . Swimming . Golf . Airbnb’s in Bentonville
“The list businesses can’t pay to be on” is our tagline, but it is much more than a catchy tagline, it succinctly says what our mission is all about. We are passionate about bringing to you genuine Top 10 lists, ones that truly represent the best of what Northwest Arkansas has to offer. A small independent restaurant has just as much chance to be on one of our Top 10 lists as does a chain restaurant with a huge marketing budget. If an establishment appears on one of our Top 10 lists, you can be sure that it was selected on merit alone. Everyone wants to know how businesses are chosen to be on our Top 10 lists. A proprietary algorithm involving reader polls, thousands of online reviews and the experiences of our own covert street team are used. This three pronged approach is an excellent way to make sure we select the Top 10 candidates in any particular category. Thank you to our readers for your continued loyal support, which allows us to expand our magazine to include new categories with information you want and need to make the most of NWA. Each time you like or make a comment or recommend to a friend, it adds to our overall ability to provide the very best of NWA to our readers new and old. We listen to our readers. If you know of a Top 10 category that you would like to see in our magazine, please contact us, and we’ll be glad to consider it for a future issue. All good things,
Lynn West

NWA Travel Guide l TOP TEN 3
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS Approximately 4 million visitors per year make the trip to Northwest Arkansas, and there are no signs that traffic is slowing down. If you are asking why, you’ve probably never been to this booming area! There are tons of amazing restaurants, things to do and places to stay in Northwest Arkansas. The Northwest corner of Arkansas is home to a number of towns and smaller communities, which together are commonly referred to as Northwest Arkansas or NWA. Bentonville, Bella Vista, Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, Lowell, Rogers, Siloam Springs and Springdale are the cities covered in this recently researched and up-to-date Top 10 NWA Travel Guide. Long known for its natural beauty and clean Ozark Mountain air, Northwest Arkansas has morphed into a cultural and business center rivaling the best in the world. The recently completed 36-mile Razorback Greenway, a primarily offroad trail system, links together six NWA cities and many community destinations including Walmart, J.B. Hunt, and Tyson Foods corporate headquarters. Additionally, the trail system also links to Arts and entertainment districts, historic sites, parks, residential communities and shopping areas. NWA invites its visitors to enjoy: • Awe-inspiring Museums Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, a dazzling, world-class 1.2 billion dollar museum. • Breathtaking Natural and Manmade Wonders Beaver Lake, Ozark Mountains, Hiking & Biking Paradise • Championship Level Cycling Walking & Hiking trails Award-winning bicycle friendly communities, Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville
