Become a Certified Personal Trainer—ACE (Livestream) Gain practical knowledge and skills to become an entry-level fitness trainer. Get More Done (Livestream) Offered in partnership with the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, this class will review the core principles in Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity by David Allen and review technology that complements his model. Digital Marketing (Online) Develop a digital marketing strategy for your business including display ads, search marketing, content marketing, email marketing and social media marketing. Learn how to create content that engages and how to ensure you have buy-in from your audience. Assess your abilities to lead and manage a company, and evaluate market and sales potential for your products/services. This comprehensive 2.5 hour workshop incorporates the SBDC’s fundamental Writing a Business Plan workshop and fully covers topics such as determining concept feasibility, startup costs, financing options, the basics of business planning, along with other necessary resources to launch. The workshop features instruction by a SBDC Business Consultant and is a prerequisite to meeting with a SBDC consultant one-on-one. The workshop is free as the $59 cost is underwritten by the Michigan Small Business Development Center; however registration is required.
