If you are interested in an internship abroad it will require extra steps, so start searching early and have patience.
Include your international experiences or language abilities on your resume. Describe in more detail in your cover letter.
Tap into the NU Network abroad. Alumni may be a valuable source of information about employment in your country of interest.
Only apply to organizations which are reputable and in countries with no US travel advisories.

Applying for internships in another country is something you can do throughout the academic year, however, because you may need extra paperwork and arrangements it is best to apply at least 4 months ahead of your proposed departure time.
Utilize Professional Associations for industry research, identifying potential employers, and developing your network. as a student member Association for International Practical Training NASFA- Association of International Educators
Services exist to help “place” you in internships abroad, however, these companies charge fees for their services.
