2022 NW Aviation Conference and Trade Show

We’re Back –and packed with Knowledge & Inspiration!

Jamelle R. Garcia, Executive Director Washington Aviation Association(WAA)

This year we celebrate the 37th anniversary of the Northwest Aviation Conference & Trade Showwith unwavering commitment to being the source of excellent services, education, best safetypractices and government affairs representation.

Once again over seventy-five hours of seminars concentrating on safety and education. Over 122,000 square feet of exhibit area featuring everything aviation.

The “YEAR” of Covid-19 just keeps on going! If anyone would have asked me if I thought a year ago, we would still be under pandemic restrictions, I would have made a ridiculous face and said, “of course not!”

But here we are and it’s still consuming our workplaces and daily living. Fortunately some restrictions have lifted and we seem to slowly be getting back to normal, whatever that may be.

“All clear and good to go” from our local politicians and county officials is a somewhat undefined parameter.

Presently, at the time of this printing WA State requires event attendees to wear a mask while not actively eating or drinking. We regret inconvenience (and discomfort) this may pose and appreciate your understanding.

We stand by of restriction changes prior to the event at the end of February – please keep checking Washington State, Pierce County and washingtonaviation.org for the latest updates.

On our end the WAA has increased spacing and aisle way room, reformatted the seminar room layouts and scheduling, and will have FREE on-site testing available. We want you to join us and will strive to make it as “painless,” efficient and as safe as possible!

The WAA team is grateful for the steadfast support and generosity of our partners, who are committed to strengthening the aviation family. Many who were unable to join us this year owing to travel restrictions have offered their support the event through advertising and sponsorship further pledging to be back in 2023 so they can be with their NW friends again! Together building stronger, healthier and safer aviation community. Thanks to the help of our sponsors, WAA continues to fulfill our mission of supporting aviation.

A big THANK YOU to Rachel, her family and all the volunteers who for more than 22 years makes this event happen. We could not do it without you!

Enjoy the event!
