This Festival is produced by the Kristmas Town Kiwanis Club with the support of many community sponsors. Thank you! Thank you for joining us – we are pleased to share our 15th Annual Event with you and your family. In 2005, Kristmas Town Kiwanis produced their first festival to a resounding welcome from the Bluegrass community! The first two years the bands were only from around the region, but Bluegrass enthusiasts supported the event from day one. Over the seasons our wonderful attendees have given excellent ideas and suggestions on how to improve the Festival, and all agree it has gotten bigger and better every year! In 2008, the Festival signed their first national touring band, Tennessee’s Cedar Hill Band. The change was well received and festival organizer, Greg Linder, has added more national groups annually. This year's lineup includes two major headliners as well as regional bands and Greg’s event host band, Runaway Train. This festival could not have been possible without the great regional bands who got it started, so we have always included as many as possible and thank them for their support! Let’s play some Bluegrass!

Workshop instructors share techniques and anecdotes, their philosophy about performing and answer questions you might have. The workshops are taught by the band performers, so it’s a wonderful opportunity to learn from an accomplished master. Please keep in mind that they also need to rehearse for their performance sets, have meals, rest and then go play on stage. Workshop locations are posted in the main lobby.

SLOW JAM WITH MARV SAT, MAY 18, 12 PM New to an instrument or just haven’t picked with others? Join a welcoming group!.Fiddle tunes are first played slowly and then repeated at a faster tempo.
