Christmas Trees in the Olympia Forest: $5 Experience: Priceless

Hood Canal trees are so fantastic that in 2006 a 45 year old Fraser fir was selected from the Olympic National Forest for the Capitol Christmas Tree. The White House has selected multiple northwest trees for presidential families. For just the cost of a $5 tree-cutting permit you can head out on the hunt. It’s time to begin a new family tradition! Olympic Forest Permits are $5.00 each and are good for one U-cut tree on the Olympic National Forest.

All fourth graders are eligible to receive a FREE EVERY KID PASS that allows access to Federal Parks and a FREE christmas tree cutting permit! everykidinapark.gov
