After two years of planning and two years of construction, Northwest Mississippi Community College is excited to open the doors of its state-of-the-art performance center. We believe that our new facility will enhance our college’s mission to transform student lives by enriching our local community and striving for excellence in our educational programs and services. With every act we book, we hope to inspire, educate, and entertain with world-renowned artists and performances. Whether you love movies, musicals, or concerts, there is something here for you!

Our Mission

The arts are a valuable part of our school and our community. We strive to transform the lives of students, instructors, staff, and audience members with artistic programming that enriches, inspires, educates, and entertains.

Our Vision

All Steinway School

The NWCC Fine Arts Department is proud to support its students in advanced vocal and instrumental instruction. In our strive for excellence, we have been designated as an All Steinway School where students can achieve an unparalleled playing and educational experience on Steinway & Sons pianos. With their pristine tone and unrivaled sound in the music world, students and visiting professional musicians alike are able to compete and perform at the highest level when playing at the NWCC Center for the Performing Arts.

As a first-rate venue in Mississippi, we champion our role in providing a high-quality performance enterprise that is the driving force of arts and culture for our community.

Our Values

We value collaborative processes and programming that involve our faculty and staff, students, alumni, and the community at large to foster a healthy and professional creative environment that is the gateway to a better quality of life. We strive for excellence and service through leadership, accountability, sustainability, integrity, and respect.
