HOW A CAR AD LED THIS EX-PAROLE OFFICER TO A NEW CAREER. David Watson left his job as a parole officer and was considering a new career in teaching. One day, he answered a car ad and met the seller at Northwest University. That very day, David called the MIT enrollment counselor. Struck by NU’s genuine desire to understand his needs, David enrolled and is now a teacher at O’Dea High School in Seattle. “The more I spoke to faculty and staff, the more I knew that NU was the university for me. It’s a special place, and they’ve come through 110%.”
