REAL FAITH
CHALLENGING ACADEMICS
ENGAGING FACULTY
At NU, your spiritual growth is at the core of our efforts. Here, you’ll find a Christcentered University where faith is deeply integrated into your educational experience. The classes, professors, worship experiences—even the friends you make—will all help to shape you into the image of Christ and fully express your God-given calling.
You aren’t just looking for an education—you’re looking for an exceptional one. At NU, we are accredited at the highest institutional level. Our classes are not easy, but excellence never is. Once you graduate, you’ll realize that you have been prepared for more than a career; you’ve been prepared to make your mark in the world.
At most colleges, you don’t spend much time with your professors. Here, we keep class sizes small. Our distinguished faculty will engage your intellect and challenge you with new ideas. Their doors are open. Their hearts are open. And they’ll become an inspiring and significant part of your University experience.
WELCOMING COMMUNITY
OUTSTANDING ATHLETICS
Something happens when you leave home for the first time and move into one of our residence halls. You might enter with a little trepidation, but not for long. You study together. You play together. You pray together. And—before you know it—you begin to realize something: This isn’t just a University. This is your home.
Northwest University competes in the Cascade Collegiate Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Our varsity sports include soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, track and field, and cross-country. Our women’s soccer team has won league championships. As proud as we are of accomplishments like this, we’re even more proud of our athletes themselves. They are champions of character who have been recognized by the NAIA as Athletes of the Year for their sportsmanship and talent.
