Master Campus Planning

NYA will capitalize on the strengths of the current campus facilities and make improvements as necessary to deliver on NYA’s mission. The Academy has developed a blueprint for campus improvements that will address the following key areas:

• Renovations to the Curtis Building that will position the facility as the cultural and academic centerpiece of the Academy.

• Installation of a new learning commons to support individual research and collaborative group work.

• Performing arts and gallery space.

• Renovation of our dining facility.

• Athletic enhancements that include renovated workout and additional wellness facilities.

• Potential for expansion of the Lower School.

• Renovation of Academy Hall for administrative and academic uses.

• Potential for residential space to house our growing international and domestic homestay population.
