Camper behavior that does not meet NYA’s Summer Camp Expectations will be managed by Staff in an age-appropriate manner. Providing a safe camp atmosphere is NYA’s primary concern. Serious and/or perpetual violations of NYA’s expectations may result in a student leaving early--for the day, or the week. Dog Policy: Dogs are not allowed in the buildings of NYA from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This prohibition does not apply to guide dogs or assistance dogs. We welcome dogs on the campus grounds, but please clean up after your pet. Cellphones and Wifi: Campers may bring a cell phone to camp at their own risk. Phones must remain off between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. except with the permission of a Staff member. There is no Wi-Fi for campers. Lost and Found: Misplaced items will be left on a table in the Middle School Community Room, and in the Lower School foyer. It is a family’s responsibility to check the table for missing items. We encourage you to label all of your child’s belongings. Unclaimed items will be packed up and donated to an appropriate agency.
