THE COMMUNITY SPORTS FOUNDATION’S PHOTO GALLERY: 2015 As 2015 draws to a close, we’ve picked out a few of our favourite images from another memorable year for the Community Sports Foundation (CSF), Norwich City’s official charity partner.

Coastal Walk Challenge: A record 90 walkers completed CSF’s Coastal Walk Challenge this year. One participant described the 47-mile challenge as “worthwhile in every sense and took us through barriers and showed us all personal reserves we never knew existed.” Run Norwich: Over 3,000 runners took to the streets of the city centre for the Foundation’s inaugural Run Norwich event in August. Over £70,000 was raised, and the proceeds shared with three specially chosen local causes: Age UK Norwich, Nelson’s Journey and Norfolk Accident Rescue Service.

Jamie’s Game: Jamie Abbott and CSF Ambassador Simon Thomas celebrate with the Jamie’s Game trophy. Over 9,500 fans watched the Foundation’s annual celebrity match this year, raising an incredible £70,000.

Changing Lives: City defender Ryan Bennett with a young member of CSF’s Down’s Syndrome group, during an open training surprise this year. Money raised from fundraising events has supported a wide range of disability programmes.

Schools: A pupil enjoys an Enterprise Day in the media room at Carrow Road. Each month, the Foundation’s schools team delivers 600 sessions to over 11,000 children.

Kicks: A Kicks squad represents Norwich City at a Premier League tournament in Liverpool. The Kicks programme has contributed to a reduction in anti-social behaviour in Norfolk by providing out-ofschool-hour bases for teenagers.

Heroes: An overjoyed Sam Copeman brings out the match ball. Several individuals involved with the Foundation – whether programme participants, volunteers or fundraisers – have been celebrated with the Community Hero accolade this year.

Match Action: Thousands of talented boys and girls have benefitted from the Foundation’s football programmes this year, from our football courses right through to our Elite Player Development Centres. The Foundation wishes you a happy and prosperous new year, and we look forward to seeing you in 2016!
