Welcome to Carrow Road this afternoon for Jamie’s Game; can you believe this is game number three? The last two years have seen over 16,000 people through the gates to support our celebrities and in turn support the work of the Community Sports Foundation. We are so grateful for that support as the money raised from these games is really important to disadvantaged and disabled people in the community. You can find out more about how CSF uses this fundraising to change the lives of people through sport on pages 6 and 7.

15

A huge thank you to our guys who give up their own time to play in the game. Many have rearranged, reshuffled, and accommodated, so that they could join the fun today.

Sporting Light Appeal

£1,000,000! We raised it together...

1

The Foundation set up its Sporting Light Appeal to help fund programmes for disadvantaged and disabled people in Norfolk, and in 2014, the fundraising total surpassed an incredible £1million. Fundraising has come from events such as the Coastal Walk Challenge, Jamie’s Game, a zip wire across Carrow Road and a golf day hosted by former Canary Dean Ashton, while across the county, many have devised their own ways to raise money. Part of the success of the Appeal has been the work of local businesses that have signed up to become ‘Business Champions’ and pledge their support through donations, fundraising and general support.

2 3

Norwich City main sponsor Aviva has also had a heavy involvement, supporting the Appeal in many ways.

Last Year’s Game

Relive the magic of last year’s game Last year’s game saw over 9,500 people enjoy a magical afternoon in the sun as ITV2’s The Only Way is Essex star Dan Osborne’s team beat actor Danny Dyer’s team 14-9. CSF disability participants Emil Roger and Rosie Hodgson, two young people who have benefited from the support of CSF and the Sporting Light Appeal, were on hand to lead the two teams out and take on the roles of managers for the day. The Aviva Man of the match was Dan Osborne who helped himself to four goals. Celebrities also on the scoresheet included Blue star Antony Costa, boxer Nathan Cleverly, Eastenders’ Dean Gaffney, Jake Wood and David Witts, whilst Darren Huckerby and Leon McKenzie led the scoring from the ex-Norwich City contingent. Other stars at the game included twins Oliver and James Phelps, both sporting 9 3/4 on their shirts in homage to their Harry Potter acting roles, Scott Robinson from boyband 5ive, X-Factor contestant Ray Quinn, as well as Hunger Games 2 star Sam Claflin.

Our Top 10 Jamie’s Game moments

Captain supremo! 2014

Houchen takes centre-stage 2014

Bringing the West End to the Barclay end, Rob Houchen, star of Les Misérables, brought the crowd to its feet with his rendition of Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ backed by the Norfolk & Norwich Operatic Society.

08 Crazy Costa 2014

09 Forbsey’s Flop 2013

OK, it probably only makes the list because we like to remind him about it daily here at CSF HQ, but Adrian Forbes’ humongous trip right in front of the City stand was a classic slapstick moment.

goal, he delighted the City stand with a lung-busting full-length touchline celebration.

Captain Dan Osborne stole the show last year, picking up four-goals and the Man of the Match Award - not bad for a Jamie’s Game debut! His inability to keep his top on at full-time only helped win him yet more female admirers…

06

The Phelps’ 9 3/4 performance! 2014

What shirt number do you give to actor twins James & Oliver Phelps of Harry Potter’s Weasley brothers fame? 9 3/4 of course, in homage to the famous train platform in JK Rowling’s wizard hit series. Inspired kit design from our Hogwartsloving friends at the Macron Store Norwich!

04

Rock Choir (feat. Shayne Ward) 2014

Norwich’s Rock Choir were busy serenading the Carrow Road with Bruno Mars’ hit song ‘Just the way you are’ as part of the pre-match build up….when up-jumped Shayne Ward for a impromptu duet!

05

01

Gafffnnneeey!!!

Jamie’s magic moment 2013

2014 Thought Antony Costa’s celebrations were wild? Determined not to be undone, Dean Gaffney goal celebration had a similar sort of intensity to Simeon Jackson’s famous celebrations after scoring against Derby County in Norwich City’s promotion season in 2011. Understated, it certainly wasn’t!

03

Tubes & Tobes 2014 It was role reversal for Soccer AM’s Tubes as CSF’s own Toby Nickerson got the opportunity to ask the TV star “one question & one question only”. Peter Dale’s response to the spot-on impersonation of his famous character? “Respect!”

Number one in our countdown is - of course - that rather special moment from the first Jamie’s Game. Young Jamie Abbott, a CSF disability participant and the face of the first celebrity match, capped off a memorable evening by smashing home a last–gasp penalty to win the game for his team…sparking wild celebrations in front of over 7,000 fans!

02 The fans 2013 & 2014

We can’t stress enough just how important and special the support of the fans has been at Jamie’s Games so far. Over £130,000 has been raised from the two games so far, with every penny going towards helping disabled and disadvantaged people in the local community. Without your support – and continued support – at events such as Jamie’s Game, we couldn’t continue to change lives.
