TRIO COMPLETE MARATHON CHALLENGE
T
eam Norwich City enjoyed a memorable day on Sunday, April 24 as they joined 39,000 runners at the 36th annual Virgin Money London Marathon. The team, made up of former football pro Lewis Blois and Club employees Lewis Plowman and Ed Guichard, completed the 26.2 mile course in aid of the Foundation. Leading the team over the finish line was the Club’s Head of Marketing, Ed, who ran the marathon in an impressive personal best time of 3:30:37. He explained what competing in this year’s race meant to him:
“The Marathon was, without doubt, one of the best experiences of my life. It was a real privilege and I am extremely proud to have represented CSF and our football club at such a massive event, and to contribute to the incredible work the Foundation do across East Anglia.” Together the runners have raised a total of £5,990 which will help to improve the lives of disabled and disadvantaged people across Norfolk.
