CELEBRATING COMMUNITY WEEK
T
his week has seen the return of Community Week, an annual celebration of the fantastic work of the Club’s charity partner, the Community Sports Foundation (CSF). The week is a chance to raise awareness of the thousands of individuals and groups who benefit from the Foundation’s community initiatives and programmes every year. Community Week started on March 28 and will culminate with some activities before kick-off and half-time at the Newcastle United home fixture today. The Norwich City Down’s Syndrome team will form a guard of honour to welcome
out the first-team, before showcasing their skills to the crowd in a small-sided match at half-time against their counterparts from the Newcastle United Foundation. City’s first-team will be showing their support for the week by warming up in special CSF t-shirts and donating signed items for an auction. As always, main Club sponsor Aviva have supported the week by providing volunteers for a ground collection for the charity, which will take place prior to the game. If you would like to make a donation to the Community Sports Foundation, please visit campaign.justgiving.com/ charity/norwichcity-csf/communityweek
