PROPOSED YOUTH COMMUNITY CENTRE The idea of theproject is mooted due to the current on-going issues with regards to youth in urban and inner-city areas ranging from doing nothing (loitering) to more serious but illegal doings (petty crimes, gangsterism, etc). The youth need a place that has a sense of belonging and positive atmosphere with recreational facilities for respite and emotional outlet on the crowded urban scape. Thism a philanthropist developer company ABC (Amsterdam Barcelona Corporation) through their CSR (corporate social responsibility) effort in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth & Sports Malaysia has decided to embark on a youth-oriented project in the inner cities of Klang Valley. The project will be focused on the development of youth skills, empowerment and means of providing self-expression and dynamic interaction. The aim of this project is to provide means of leisure and relief in the limited urban scape for the youth and opportunities to enhance their interest into possible profitable or tangible avenue as careeers in the future.
