DANCE IT OUT Welcome to these wise words... which also carry the name of our Autumn Winter 2022 collection! It’s old news to some, but to me it is still a very useful mantra. Dance it out… This title was already introduced as a small start for our High summer collection - but now we go all in… Get up in the morning and choose to have a good day, play some of your favorite songs - even just 2, and start moving your body. Shake, jump, twist. I promise you, it works - it will lift your thoughts and make your heart smile. OOOhhh I wanna dance with somebody… perhaps just your own body. In one of my tv-series addictions - Greys Anatomy, they often dance out together when things are hard or crazy. I love it... I hope this new collection transpires what we want to deliver: Everyday Magic. Our dream is to leave our little mark in this world - to put the extra into the ordinary - to spread colorful joy to anyone and everyone. We believe in good energy and it has to start somewhere. When the time is ripe and the bananas too... Perfect banana bread recipe: • 350 g ripe bananas (peeled weight) • 180 g plain flour, plus extra for the tin • 2½ tsp baking powder • 1 tsp salt • 160 g soft, light brown sugar • 2 eggs, beaten • 4 tbsp melted butter, plus extra to grease, slightly cooled • 150 g dark chocolate chopped roughly (optional) 1. Preheat the oven to 170C. Put two-thirds of the peeled banana chunks into a bowl and mash until smooth. Roughly mash the remainder and stir in gently. 2. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl, grease and lightly flour a baking tin. 3. Put the sugar, eggs and melted butter in a large bowl and use an electric mixer to whisk them until pale and slightly increased in volume. Fold in the bananas and the dry ingredients until you can see no more flour. Then add the roughly chopped chocolate.

One of our current RICE CSR project We have produced our raffia products in Madagascar with the same suppliers since we started RICE 23 years ago - through ups and downs, we have helped each other. Now more than ever, we want to give as much work as possible to the lovely ladies who make such amazing products for us. During the worst part of the pandemic, we decided to donate 1 kg of rice for each of these lovely letter baskets sold - we donated to the ladies who work for us - and so far, we have given almost 1 TON of rice - we might need to change the donation into something else… Remember NO ONE can help everyone - but everyone can help someone.
