Stone age illustrated by
art and music
People living in the Stone Age love being creative! Some people draw cave paintings of symbols that mean a lot to them, while others play instruments that they have made.
Paint is made from crushed ochre, red rocks and charcoal, and paintbrushes and musical instruments are carved from wood and bone!
Finish the painting on the wall of a cave.
Now stick in some instruments for the musicians to play!
ON THE move
In the early Stone Age, families do not live in one place. Instead, they spend their time travelling around to find food and explore. Each group makes a shelter to sleep in from the things that they find around them, before moving on to create new shelters elsewhere.
Use the stickers to help these people finish their shelter.

Fighting for food There are many different groups of people living in the Stone Age, but they all learn to fight and hunt for food.
Sometimes humans and wolves choose to hunt together as a team, while other groups craft spears out of flint, a type of stone, and wood to catch prey such as deer and feed their families.

gathering supplies
While some adults hunt animals, others teach children how to gather food from plants and flowers.
Berries, nuts and fruits are collected from bushes and high trees and stored in containers made from tree bark, and vegetables and roots are dug up from underground using long wooden sticks.
Add in a woman collecting berries.
