the color palette ROBIN LOVES GLAM! To bring the art deco/Gatsby vibe to life, we are using bold black, metallic golds and whites to take their 1920s-styled love affair to the next level.
the invitation
the attire KEELAN WILL WEAR A FORMAL TUXEDO, COMPLETE WITH A DAPPER BLACK & WHITE dinner jacket with a black lapel. A bow tie is preferred to complete the look. The groomsmen will wear all black tuxedos to compliment the bridesmaids’ dresses, and so that the groom will stand out. Bridesmaids will wear floor-length black gowns. These dresses are dramatic from every angle. The bodice gives them a glam/deco flair.
bridal party flowers ROBIN WILL CARRY A STUNNING BOUQUET OF ALL WHITE BLOOMS DRAPED WITH PEARLS & accented with rhinestone and gold brooches for spectacular effect! Robin’s two bridesmaids will carry very large white bouquets of hydrangeas and roses wrapped in gold satin. Keelan will wear an elegant 2 white calla lily boutonniere to give a very clean look. His two groomsmen will wear a single white calla lily.
the ceremony venue KEELAN AND ROBIN WILL EXCHANGE VOWS SURROUNDED BY THEIR FAMILY FRIENDS at Rock Hill AME Zion Church. The church is sentimental to the bride and has a large sanctuary to accommodate their wedding guests.
the ceremony DUE TO THE OFF-CENTERED AISLE, WE WILL K E E P T H E D E S I G N M I N I M A L AT T H E C H U R C H to keep it elegant. There will be 2 large altar arrangements to be re-used at reception. Crystals will be added at the reception. Floating candles will surround the base of each arrangement. The aisle will not be adorned since the bride will come up one side and exit from another.

Concord City Club at Gibson Mill is located in Concord, North Carolina, and is housed in a 100 year-old, beautifully restored classic red brick Southern Mill.
the reception layout
rentals THEMEWORKS WILL PROVIDE A WHITE B A R , 8 ’ X 2 ’ , W I T H T W O B A R C A P S TO C R E AT E a modern bar area. The Katie bar back will be used to display glassware, candles and engagement photos. A frost centerpiece (White Fluffy Rounds on top of Metal/ Crystal Centerpiece) will be placed on each end of the bar to tie in the ostrich feather centerpieces. Three gorgeous Vintage Crystal Chandeliers will be suspended strategically across the middle of the room with one hanging directly over the dance floor. A Large Gold deco styled Mirror will be placed in the cocktail hour space and will feature the calligraphic seating chart.
lighting & flooring A BLACK & WHITE DANCE FLOOR WILL BE A BOLD FOCAL POINT IN THE CENTER TO ADD drama and elegance to the space! To create the right atmosphere for the reception, uplighting (blush and/or gold) will be used to highlight the draping. Pinspotting will be used on each TALL centerpiece to illuminate them throughout the evening.

floral design - 4 large centerpieces with heavy draped crystals & pearls - tons of trios at the base - 6/12 ostrich feather on brass candelabra with glass cylinders and pillar candles - 10 gold boxes white hydrangea and trio candles (floating) - 5 tables & arrangements with crystals on candelabras - 4 large elevated arrangements draped with crystals. - 10 gold cubes of white blooms and trios of candles - low orchids & trios on mirrors for 16 ft. banquet tables The sweetheart table will display the bridal bouquet and 2 bridesmaids bouquets. One additional arrangement will be made to complete the look.

seating CLEAR, GHOST ACRYLIC CHIVARI CHAIRS chairs, with black cushions if possible, will surround each guest table and provide modern-style seating.
small details BLACK & GOLD ART DECO-STYLED SIGNAGE W I L L B E U S E D TO ACC E N T UAT E A R E A S S U C H as the gift table, dessert bar, and bar. The laser cut gold acrylic table numbers will add elegance and design flair to each guest table, as they will be nestled among each centerpiece. Each guest napkin will be rolled and cuffed with a bling napkin ring and a black and gold dinner menu if the bride chooses.
small details, continued Custom black and gold foil bar napkins will be at the bar & served with each drink. Art deco styled black Mr. and Mrs. table signs will adorn the sweetheart table. Gold and black art deco Marcella plates will be at each place setting and tie the look together!
