What Is The ADA The ADA protects the civil rights of people with disabilities in employment and access to goods and services. In July 1991 the ADA legislation and supporting guidelines were published in the Department of Justice Federal Register.

Why Are ADA Sign Important Signs that are considered temporary do not need to comply with the ADA codes. Signs that identify permanent rooms or space do need to comply with the ADA.
