Personalisation co-creating identity Personal relationships are important in all fields of use such as marketing, healthcare, education, etc. Personalisation is a use of information technology for establishing a person’s identity. A list of properties that are recorded to a card-integrated chip or library distinguishes a person from others, submitting important information about themselves to state authorities or commercial organisations.

06 / 07 - Personalisation / Bank cards

During the personalisation process, the high-end security expectations of the client are met and that attitude leads to the evolution and development of information technology (laser engraving of images and text, implementation and personalisation of the chip or magnetic tape, convex or concave relief printing or multi-colour thermal printing of images and text, implementation of signature tape, application of protection foil, thermal printing of barcode, application of scratch-off foil). High-end security expectations are guideline governing the work of Cetis.

Bank cards Bank cards are an indispensable part of our everyday life. They make financial transactions much easier for users therefore improving the quality of life. Security while using bank cards remains the most vital issue. At Cetis we are upgrading the security mechanisms against misuse of bank cards and provide top-level data security. We create and personalise bank cards that enable quick, reliable and at the same time secure transactions for users. Personalisation is performed quickly and with quality (debit, credit, loan cards, e-wallets). We are building the system of card personalisation together with our clients. The entire card system is customised to suit their specific requirements with the possibility of upgrading to greater capacity and better card quality as well as data management.

Proven quality For bank card personalisation we obtained the Visa/Mastercard certificates to ensure physical and logical security and CQM – a Mastercard standard for ensuring bank card quality.

Loyalty cards Cards for various purposes enable our clients to follow the wishes and needs of their customers with ease. Data processing is faster, more detailed and prevents errors from occurring. Simultaneously the card system also offers the option for changing data, their supplementation and archival. The cards enable customer relationship management, conducting contests, etc. We can use them as pre-paid cards, the use of which is growing (mobile phone, toll, etc.) or as an award voucher. Here belong membership cards, professional association cards, credit cards, season ticket cards, discount cards, award vouchers, school cards, and reputation cards. However, we can create simpler cards for promotional purposes or as gift. They have a low level of security features and limitless design options. Their value is in their communication aspect therefore they are useful for direct mail services such as calendars, invitations, key fobs and notifications.

08 / 09 - Loyalty cards / Smart cards - Memory cards

Loyalty card properties: − useful for tracking the needs and wishes of customers; − enable quick data processing, preventing occurrence of errors; − the option of keeping the data up-to-date is available; − data storage options are available.

Smart cards Cetis has a role in the smart card technology market and support services that enable organisations to collect data on individuals and their identification as well as building trust-based relationships. When creating documents and integrating them into a system in the form of Cetis smart cards we are trusted by numerous countries, government institutions, trading systems, banks, insurance companies, etc. at home and in the African continent, the Middle East and Central America. Smart cards have dynamic data processing capabilities. Using them you can generate and verify digital signatures and perform data encryption. Data is organised in a file system and are used in SIM cards, mobile phones, bank cards, digital tachograph cards, health insurance cards and for the purpose of authentication and storage of sensitive data.

Smart card properties: − include various data; − ensure the highest level of control and security of information; − the user can store information conveniently and process them securely; − chip protection.

Memory cards Memory cards do not have their own processor and cannot be used for dynamic data processing. Cards with regular memory type are only used for storing data. Cards with secured or shared memory come with simple integrated circuits for checking data access. Thus certain memory sections can have write-only or read-only secured with passwords or system keys. Disposable or multiple use stored-value cards are used for storing value or “tokens”, such as telephone cards.

Materials, their properties and use of cards we keep our promises Our suppliers have all the required quality certificates and meet the requirements of the European directive. Furthermore, every year we check their quality, responsiveness and price efficiency. Therefore, we keep the promise to our business partners of providing cards made of top quality materials. According to the security features level and hence security against card data misuse our clients can choose between PC, PVC and paper cards. * PC-polycarbonate
