A total of 320 installed solar panels ensure a more sustainable energy supply and an active contribution to environmental protection.

The local subsidiary NOVOMATIC Spain has installed 239 modules on the roof of the headquarters near Madrid, in Alcalá de Henares and 81 modules on the roof of the car park. The two photovoltaic systems have a peak power of 176 kWp and will generate more than 50% of the electrical energy required at the site, reducing carbon emissions by 109,729 kg per year. The company is thus committed to sustainable energy models and is making an active contribution to environmental protection.

But, NOVOMATIC Spain's commitment goes beyond this, as for years the company has promoted the purchase of resources from renewable sources to meet its daily needs, while also committing to the use of clean energy. In this way, the company lives a culture of social responsibility and respect for the environment and feels a responsibility to continue to promote this among its employees.

Bernhard Teuchmann, Managing Director of NOVOMATIC Gaming Spain, explains: “The issue of environmental protection has been close to our hearts for a long time and is taken into account in our corporate philosophy in decisions large and small. However, in addition to environmental concerns, these days we are also very relieved to now have some independence from the volatile market conditions in the energy sector for around 50% of our electricity needs at the site with the solar installation.”
