Using Twitter to Enhance Your Online Business Once you’ve been on Twitter for a while and you’ve come across a few other Twitterers, you’ll notice that they tend to fall into two broad groups. The first group likes to tell everyone what they’ve had for dinner, what they’re watching on television and so on. The second group likes to use the site as a business tool. Needless to say, it’s the activities of this second group that we’re interested in. If you use the site properly you can build up another stream of traffic to your website or blog, not to mention developing a brand for yourself as well. The great benefit of Twitter is that it attracts all kinds of people from all walks of life, who all have different reasons and motivations for using the website. You’ll soon find you start to link up with and follow people who are interested in the same subjects you are, and then they’ll start following you too.
