In the classic holiday film “It’s a Wonderful Life”, George Bailey learned that you don’t miss something until it’s gone; that we often take things for granted. This holds true when it comes to local businesses; that’s why it’s so important that we all support our local businesses… not only during the Christmas Shopping Season, but each and every day of the year. Otherwise, we’ll turn around and they’ll be gone. So when you set out to find those special gifts, or whatever your need may be, keep your dollars local. That way, everyone in our community will have a Wonderful Life. – Rick Hansen, Board President Ukiah Main Street Program
